Growing up Greg used to point to the violinists playing during orchestra shows and exclaim to his mom, “I want to play that one!”. Thirty plus years later he still is.A regular performer with the Georgian Bay Symphony, Greg also enjoys preparing chamber and small-ensemble works for special performances. He studied the Suzuki method under Bruce Skelton and enjoyed the approach taken by Jerzy Kaplanek while he attended Wilfrid Laurier University.As a teacher Greg tries to combine a gentle approach of encouragement coupled with a focus on technique while growing a student’s ability to accomplish repertoire.
